What carrier oils do you use to create your range of beard oils?

We have a selection of carrier oils used to customise beard oils for all skin types including:

Jojoba oil

Fractionated coconut oil

Sweet almond oil 

Hemp seed oil 

Grape seed oil 

Apricot kernal oil 

What do I do if I have a known irritation to a specific carrier oil?

Once you have placed your order online please email us at info@backyardbarber.co.nz with your order number alerting us to this. We will ensure that alternative carrier oils are used to create your beard oil specific to your skin type. Caution, if you are allergic to some carrier oil products and there is risk of health complications when exposed, we do not recommend you use these products.

Can beard oil be custom made?

Yes, when purchasing your beard oil online there is a drop down box at purchase where you can select what skin type you are. By selecting either normal, sensitive, oily, dry or mature skin your order will be custom made for you. Alternatively if you have a request for your beard oil to be made using a specific carrier oil please send us a email with your order number and let us know.

How long will a 30ml bottle of beard oil last?

 We recommend using your beard oil daily. Each carrier oil spreads slightly differently however on average your bottle should last approximately 3 months. Each individual beard oil is made to order, we recommend you store your oil out of direct sunlight in a cool, dry area.

How long will my order take to arrive?

We will post your order within 5-7 working days and provide you with a tracking number. 

Where are your products made and where do you provide delivery to? 
 
All products are made here in New Zealand, we can post anywhere in New Zealand so all kiwi's can enjoy this product. 
Are your wooden combs handmade
Yes, our Rimu and Kauri wooden combs are individually handmade by Matt and Kim here in Whangarei in our tool shed, each comb is hand sanded and then lightly oiled to finish.
